Plug and Play (PnP) selected Vidora to present at their retail pitch event this week! PnP hosted this event to select finalists for their Brand & Retail vertical. The event took place on August 6th at the Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, CA. PnP brings together the best technology startups and the world’s largest corporations (you can read more about Plug and Play here). Many retail partners attended this event, including Kohl’s, Mars, TJX, Ahold Delhaize, Synchrony Financial, Panasonic, and more.

Sean Killen presented to a room of 25 Fortune 250 retailers. Data wrangling is one of the largest problems faced by the retailers. Therefore, the presentation focused on how to automate data wrangling using Cortex. In particular, Sean showed how automating data wrangling can save 90% of ML development time. Thus, allowing enterprises to lead their ML programs forward through more efficient ML deployments.

There were several friendly faces in the audience, including Fortune 250 retail customers who already enjoy the benefits of working with Cortex. All in all, we are looking forward to growing that list of happy customers through this opportunity with Plug and Play.
