Vidora is excited to announce support for dynamic Custom Filtering of its personalized recommendations. Custom Filtering is built on the Cortex platform and will be accessible through Vidora’s real-time Personalization API, helping our partners customize the digital experiences they offer to users. This new feature launches for all customers on February 19th, 2018.
Vidora’s recommendation models provide personalized recommendations which update in real-time and return results in 10-20ms. Our models have robust systems for filtering results by metadata such as category, type, payment, and others. Going forward, recommendation models will also support Custom Filtering, a feature which gives our partners the ability to add custom tags to their data and then filter on those tags when calling Vidora’s low-latency APIs. Vidora’s filtering systems already support ‘and’, ‘or’, and ‘not’ logic. As a result, this allows you to filter along multiple parameters, by multiple values for each parameter, or to exclude specific parameter values.
Custom Filtering has powerful applications for our partners across multiple verticals. Below we have listed relevant sample use cases across verticals with which Vidora already works.
Vidora enables anyone in any business to build and use complex machine learning models. With Vidora’s self-service platform, Cortex, machine learning is intuitive, interpretable and fast. Cortex also automates the entire machine learning pipeline from raw data to model outputs, and the Items API is an important component of that. Experts in machine learning and artificial intelligence from Stanford, Berkeley and Caltech developed Cortex. Finally, Cortex sits at the heart of some of the largest global brands, such as Walmart, News Corp, and Discovery.
